We're on the mend...

Actually we're over the mend...

The "big kids" are back to school and it's just Mommy and Lula again.
Lula took a VERY long nap early today so I made this...




I bought some faux greens and gourds from the Dollar store along with a round piece of foam....Viola! It's exactly what I wanted for the front door!

After days of being sick and not leaving the house much....
We're going a little crazy...

Eating cheese grits....

and begging ....

for new Star Wars toys...

and for candy...

"Just one?" she asks

"NO MORE !" I remind her...

"pleeeeeease?" she begs...

"I said no!" I reminded her again...

I went to the basement for a few minutes to finish laundry.

I came back upstairs and look at what I found:

Post Halloween Blues...

We're over stimulated, over sugared, over tired, and sick with antibiotics.

Bronchitis and Strep Throat to boot!

So we'll take the next few days to get better with lots of R&R. Luckily Mom, Dad and Lula aren't sick yet, but we'll all get some rest and relaxation.
