Here comes the sun...little darlins'

It's been a long cold rainy week! I never thought it would stop. We have CABIN FEVER!!

LET US OUT!

Finally this morning the sun broke through and called us into the woods!

There is always such a peace I feel in the woods...

We don't have to be dressed up, or even bathed. We don't feel judged or reckoned upon. 

No, we just come as we are...we just show up and we're welcomed! 

There is so much to take in...

I bet no two people see the same thing...

There's a warmth that enters the body differently...

...through a passage alike no other..

It's a deep warmth. 

The warmth from contentment and familiarity. 

The warmth of home..

A home you've forgotten you had...

Through the hustle and bustle of the material world the remembrance is lost...

...like the soft buzz of a bee that can only be heard if you're listening

Then,

You hear it!

All is clear, the sounds are dimmed, and the bee's buzz is like a lion's roar...

...you are home, between the trees and the cold, cold, ground...
